Howl-O-Scream!

One of our favorite things about Halloween in Texas is going to Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld. We love walking through the haunted Scare Zones (although the kids get a little freaked out) and watching the fun creepy shows they have for Halloween. This year, Mike and I were excited to go because of the Brett Michaels (Poison) concert they were having to kick off the season. And yes, we dragged the kids with us to rock out old school style!

Mike and I were in our 80's K-BER element rockin' to the show. And since the concert was at SeaWorld, it was a fun (and kid clean appropriate) show for the kids too.

All Savannah wanted to do was go see Shamu! She wasn't loving the concert quite as much as the rest of us, and crashed half way through it. Poor girl. She slept through the Shamu show afterward. We'll have to take her back before Halloween.

Wordless Wednesday Halloween Style

ABC Parade

S is for Savannah!
Savannah dressed up as a Spider Lady for her kinder Alphabet parade last Friday. She was super excited, as was the rest of the kindergarten, to get to dress up as something that started with the initial of her name and march around the school. Savannah is loving every minute of kindergarten, which makes me happy because then I don't miss her quite as much. : )

Fall Football!

It's football season and Logan is loving every minute of it! This year the boys are definitely playing tough. Something has finally clicked and they are playing as a team, maybe because they are older than 5 and know their left from their right : ). They are running plays, pulling flags, and scoring touchdowns! GO RATTLERS!!!



Logan did awesome his first two games! He scored 2 touchdowns and pulled plenty of flags. Logan's learned how to cut through the holes and get around the other team to run to the end zone. He also plays great defense. He's a tough little guy!
