My Baby is Growing UP

Savannah started Pre-k this month.

Where has the time gone? Yesterday she was still my baby. Today she is a super star at preschool. She loves playing with her friends, painting projects, and learning all the new things she gets to do at school.

Savannah also started her dance lessons again this year. She is excited because she gets to take dance with her friends.

The Cheering Section: too cool for school!
The big brothers and sisters got to come watch the girls' first day of dance class before school started. They were so proud of our little dancers!

I Miss the Lazy Days of Summer . . .

I miss Saturdays with nothing to do but spending time playing in the river . . .

. . . or lounging on a blanket reading books

. . . or sitting in the warm sun waiting for the fish to bite

. . . or even taking a chill floating in a tube.

I miss Saturdays spent with best friends . . .

. . . and stolen moments
. . . and perfect afternoons kayaking down the river.
I miss the lazy days of summer . . .
. . . especially when the fish decide to bite

. . . and the look on his face . . . priceless!

Today, I've been a little lonely.
Savannah started preschool on Wednesday, and LOVES it!
I on the other hand am having a little bit of a harder time with the transition to no kids at home.
It was quiet today.
I finished a book
and cleaned A LOT.
I really needed this letter!

I Love you too, Logan!
