Congratulations James and Lisa!

We were so happy that we were able to plan our trip to Utah so we could be there for my brother, James, and Lisa's wedding. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Aug. 6, 2008. It was such a beautiful ceremony! I felt the spirit so strong in the temple, and I know that they made the right decision to be married. They are perfect for each other.
I love you, James and Lisa!!!

Our family at the temple: Mike, Jalinda, Dad, Sharon, Lisa, James, Mom, Andrea & Chase
Waiting for the happy couple to come out of the temple after the ceremony.
The wedding luncheon was held at the Lion House. It tasted so yummy after traipsing around in the hot sun taking pictures of the newlyweds.
Andrea and her sweet Emmy.

Welcome to the wedding reception! Five of the cutest little present takers you ever saw. : )

I love this picture. My grandpa is so sweet with my kids. He was helping Savannah feel better after her crying jag about not wanting to be in any more pictures.

Owls Baseball Game

We had so much fun watching an Owls Baseball game while we were in Utah. Uncle Jimmy got us free tickets with his "cool connections." Thanks James! We were excited to watch the game, but also to see my little brother, James, at work announcing the game play by play on the radio.

Watching the game. Logan thought the whole night was a special treat!

Me and my boy!
After the game, we went down on the field to watch Return of the Jedi on the big screen. Logan couldn't believe his good fortune! Not only did he get to watch baseball, but his favorite movie ever too! Now his night was complete! : )
We had so much fun together as a family at the game, and it was really relaxing to sprawl out on the cool grass and enjoy the movie. Good Times!

Mike and I took the kids for a Sunday drive to the temple after church one Sunday in August. We love the Mount Timpanogoes Temple because it sits right outside my Mom's kitchen window. It's "Our Temple!" We want our kids to love it as much as we do.

With all the fun family pictures in front of the temple, I wanted to include some pics of the rest of the family who couldn't make it to Lisa's endowments.

Weekend Getaway to Park City

During our vacation, Mike and I got to escape for a night to Park City without kids. We had a delicious dinner on main street at a little Bistro after walking around some of the shops. My favorite part was the creme brulee, wait maybe it was the no kids. : ) Thank You!!! Jeanette and Brandon for taking our 3 for the night and Mom for the next day. We had a wonderful time and I know the kids had fun doing the Olympics with Brynn and Brooks. The ceremony with prizes was their favorite part. Good work Brandon!
After snapping this pic of Mike by the clock, we realized we took the same shot of him 13 years ago in Park City for our honeymoon. Weird. I wish I had a scanner to compare Mike then and now. Our condo: The Lodges of Deer Valley

Mirror Lake Taggart Reunion

Yes, it's another Utah post. Our summer vacation is almost over. : ) We spent a fun-filled day in the Uinta Mountains at Mirror Lake with Mike's mom's family. We all got together to remember Grandma and Grandpa Taggart, Mike's grandparents. They spent their honeymoon at Mirror Lake 72 years ago. What amazing grandparents Mike has! I remember spending weekends in Logan with them and feeling so loved and at home. Mike and I miss Grandpa and Grandma. It was nice to be together to remember them and how much we love them. It was also so fun to spend the day with Aunts, Uncles and cousins we haven't seen for a while and see how much fun all the little cousins had together.

Before everyone arrived, we had some time to walk around the lake with Jeff, Eileen and Rina. It was beautiful! The kids had fun taking turns walking Rocco.
