We busted it to the coast over spring break and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the beach! I think we all needed a break from busy everyday life, however it made us long for the lazy days of summer. . .
The kids played so well together building an extreme sand castle and burying themselves in the sand. Mike and I always love walking up the beach and since Luke did not love being outside in the wind, the walk was nice because we could cocoon him in the stroller while we walked.
The next day, we decided to tour Corpus and took a very fun walk down main street which follows the water. We watched the sailboats, explored the gazebos that line the sidewalk, found the Selena memorial (which Mike enjoyed : ), and finished off the afternoon with a refreshing icee. A perfect weekend! Can we go back yet??!
