We made our annual trip to South Padre Island with our good friends the Barlows, the Millers, the Gordons, and the Jensons. We have such a great time hanging at the beach with all of them because we're all such good friends. We all have kids around the same ages so everyone has a buddy to play with. The kids love playing in the sand and in the ocean together, and the adults love to get together and relax by the waves. Can't wait for our next trip!!!
We scored a beach house right across the street from the beach with a private pool.
The kids loved playing in the pool almost as much as they did playing in the ocean.

On our last day we took a leisurely walk down the beach . . .
. . . and hit Parrot Eyes for lunch.
And last, but not least we took our nature walk on the pier.
We saw our friend the Gator again, and this time he stalked us. I'm not kidding. He saw we were standing on the pier and swam right under where we were standing and planted himself right there. Kind of freaky!
Good Times at the Beach! For sure we'll head back soon.
